About the Congress
The SSNF International Congress was created as a strategic initiative aimed at establishing a formal and recurring forum to strengthen the Non-Financial Activities sector by promoting academic exchange, professional development, and coordination among the various stakeholders involved in the prevention of money laundering, terrorist financing, and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
The event will bring together authorities, national and international experts, multilateral organizations, professional associations, and representatives of the non-financial sectors regulated by the SSNF to share best practices, analyze emerging trends, and strengthen the sector's technical and operational capabilities.
The Congress also seeks to establish itself as a national and international reference forum for Non-Financial Activities, fostering interinstitutional coordination, regulatory compliance, and strategic partnerships that contribute to strengthening the prevention and supervision system in Panama and throughout the region.
Attorneys and accountants when, in the course of their professional activities, they carry out on behalf of or for a client any of the activities subject to supervision (items 11 and 12, paragraphs a through k, Article 40 of Law 124).

Tocumen International Airport is Panama's main airport and one of Latin America's most important air transportation hubs. Located just a short distance from Panama City, it offers modern facilities, extensive international connectivity, and direct access to the Panama Metro system through the Line 2 Airport station. The airport features restaurants, shops, banking services, public transportation, taxis, and ride-hailing platforms, providing convenient and easy transportation for domestic and international visitors.

Panama City has a modern public transportation network through the Panama Metro, a fast, safe, and efficient system that connects different areas of the city, including Tocumen International Airport. The Metro uses the same card as the Metrobús urban bus system, which can be reloaded and used on both forms of transportation. The Metro currently has several lines that make it easier to travel to shopping centers, hotels, tourist areas, and universities throughout the city.
Buses provide transportation throughout the city. Each trip costs 0.25 balboas or U.S. dollars. A Metrobús card must be purchased in advance, as cash payments are not accepted. The card can be purchased at Metro stations and is reloadable. First, the card is purchased—it may be used by several people traveling together—and then credit is added according to the number of trips planned.
